It all started with the ‘little books.’

A series of three, 2x3inch books that sat on my grandparents shelf lined living room.

For some reason, those little books resonated with my little self. Every time I’d go to my grandparents house (which was a lot), those were the first things I’d want to play with — and those same books are now a permanent figure on my altar.

Growing up, I was always writing. My mom still has boxes full of pages from my early days as an aspiring author, scribbling illegible words into spiral notebooks, and letting my imagination run wild (a trait I hope to pass onto my daughter one day).

Over the past decade, I’ve been a multi-industry solopreneur working within the spaces of fitness, business coaching, content creation, copywriting, project management, and social media while also moonlighting as a hotel associate during a quick but super impactful stint in Houston, Texas (my fave job by FAR btw).

The red thread that continues through each of those industries is my ability to connect with humans with a level of realness, empathy, and understanding without being flakey, overcompensating, or making promises I can’t keep — plus I’m scrappy, actually enjoy learning, and really love a good boundary.

In 2023 I self-published my first book, Sympathy for the Strong Ones, the same month my daughter was born, moved cross country 2x, bought a house, all while working multiple jobs and keeping my family alive, which imho, is a pretty good depiction of my work ethic.

I’m currently studying to become a Companion Animal Death Doula and the Co-Founder of Pitness in the Park, a fundraiser that promotes positive PitBull Awareness.

My lifelong goal is to become a real life Jana Melhoopen-Jonks, drive me and my family’s asses cross country in a Winnebago, and retire somewhere with a lot of animals, books, and zero bullshit.

I work with creative visionaries who are booked, busy, and working in their zone of magic.

(Which means they don’t have the energy or bandwidth to worry about copy, content, and keeping up with the BS of social media.)

I believe in a collaborative approach because creative minds work better together.
